Web Analyst – Chattanooga

We are a growing southeast regional advertising agency with one goal: to make a difference in the work we do. In order to make that difference, we assemble teams of creative individuals who are motivated by an innate curiosity to discover the next great idea.

We are looking for a web analyst who will work directly and autonomously with account management, media and clients to development measurement and tracking plans for client campaigns, as well as creating and delivering performance reports on these campaigns for both internal and external clients.

The analyst will be responsible for the collection and organization of all data related to assigned clients’ marketing and advertising campaigns (from media platforms, website data, as well as data from client data sources), and will collaborate with the media team to deliver insightful, actionable reports on full campaign performance and optimizations for clients. The ideal candidate will be able to present to account teams and clients, manipulate and interpret complex data, and work collaboratively with team members from other functions to identify the best action to take based on the data. Additionally, the analyst will have a constant curiosity to stay ahead of a changing and complex marketplace, and a desire to find and implement new and better ways to dig through the data in order to provide better value to our clients.

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Collaborate with Account Management and Media teams to create measurement plans with KPIs and targets to track website and campaign success.
  • Based on measurement plan, set up and configure Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics to facilitate tracking on websites. Work closely with developers to ensure smooth and accurate tracking setup.
  • Create website reporting to include website performance, visitor behavior, cross-channel marketing performance, etc. according to campaign objectives and client business goals.
  • Perform website analytics audits and identify gaps in tagging as well as actionable recommendations for teams to execute.
  • Identify opportunities for and conduct A/B and multivariate tests to improve site performance.
  • SEO experience is a plus: Lead aspects of SEO including keyword analysis, metadata strategy, onsite and offsite optimization plans, and providing best practice guides to clients.

Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience working in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console
  • Proven history of developing and managing website analytics efforts from measurement plans to client reporting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to interact with all levels of technical expertise
  • Working understanding of marketing platforms (e.g., Google AdWords, DoubleClick, Facebook Ads) and marketing attribution
  • Experience with healthcare marketing is a plus
  • Experience working in Tableau is a plus

This position is full-time and will be based in either our Richmond, VA or Chattanooga, TN office.

Senior Account Executive - Richmond

We are a growing southeast regional advertising agency with one goal: to make a difference in the work we do. In order to make that difference, we assemble teams of creative individuals who are motivated by an innate curiosity to discover the next great idea. 

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to serve as the primary contact between client and agency, along with the account executive as applicable. Identifies client needs and opportunities, then works with producers to apply appropriate agency resources. Ability to provide strategic direction and ongoing project management to creative, media, production and other agency disciplines (including collaboration with partner agencies and vendors, if applicable). Based on the client business goals, helps develop strategic marketing programs for clients and is responsible for managing multiple accounts or large accounts. Responsible for carrying out plan objectives on a daily, project by project basis, individually or through delegation of work to members of the account team. Is actively involved in launching and managing campaign work, delegating assignments to agency team, and integrating effectively with creative, media, PR and digital teams to ensure the needs of client are met. Responsible for gaining new business from existing clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage day to day functions of Account Executive and Assistant Account Executive as assigned
  • Meet with clients to discuss goals, objectives, and needs
  • Think ahead, anticipate outcomes and client needs, and plan accordingly
  • Identify advertising requirements and possible audiences
  • Devise advertising campaign strategy and write creative briefs
  • Set deadlines jointly with client and relevant agency personnel
  • Effectively present, sell, and defend all agency work/proposals to clients
  • Present campaign ideas to client individually and with creative teams or other agency personnel
  • Get budgets and ideas approved by client
  • Brief media, creative, digital, and PR staff
  • Maintain regular contacts with both agency staff and clients
  • Maintain budgets and campaign costs
  • Present and review invoices with clients
  • Write detailed reports
  • Communicate and build marketing campaigns with agency personnel
  • Ensure client revenue goals are met, when assigned

Conceptual Art Director

Conceptual Art Director Wanted. Emphasis on conceptual.  

We’re assuming you already know your way around the Adobe Creative Suite. You know the intricacies of type design and appreciate the nuances of kerning and leading by hand as opposed to by computer. Heck, you probably recreated a Gutenberg Press in your basement. You understand color theory, photography composition and are the person everyone at a cocktail party avoids speaking to about the pros and cons of The Golden Ratio Theory. You are comfortable with all forms of content creation. Motion graphics is second nature. Your Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram posts are the envy of your creative friends, and totally confuse your parents.  

OK. You know how to make things look pretty, but can you concept?  

Can you take two abstract ideas and bring them together in a new and unexpected way? Can you take a strategy and wrestle it to within an inch of its life? Can you pull an insight out of the bowels of focus group consumer research and come out the other side with a creative solution that makes a difference and is inspiring enough to change consumer perspective and behavior?

Conceptual Advertising Copywriter

Copywriter(s) wanted to write their own job description.

We tried to write a job description that would capture the true essence of what we were looking for, but kept coming up a bit short. Everything felt too straightforward. Too traditional. Too uninspiring. Too clichéd. Too normal. Too much like every other job description out there. Nothing seemed to capture our spirit or imagination. So we thought, instead of writing a job description for what we wanted, why not get the writer we were looking for to write a job description of what they wanted?

What kind of a place do they want to work for? What kind of a place do they want to help build? What kind of work do they want to do? Maybe they want to come here and become an award winning writer. Maybe they’re already an award winning writer that wants to take their craft and skill to the next level? Maybe they want to make a name for themselves by doing something no one else ever has. Maybe they don’t care about awards or ads or social media or digital or marketing in general, but they do care about writing.

It’s in their blood. It’s their passion. It’s what they were born to do. The fact that they’re in advertising may only be to pay the bills. They care so much that maybe the job description they write won’t be a job description at all. After all, who wants a job? Maybe the job description they write helps us realize that what we were looking for isn’t a writer at all, but someone who is passionate about their art and craft and wants to push themselves as much as we want to push ourselves.
