Challenge

VCU Medical Center is known for being one of the top hospitals that has an ability to treat patients, specifically with major traumas. Through discussions with the client, it was determined that there was a lack of awareness and understanding, among the public and even within the organization, of the importance of a Level 1 hospital and why every step in the trajectory of a trauma is important – what happens, before, during and after matters.

Solution

To highlight National Trauma Month (May), a traditional and digital campaign that emphasized themes of prevention education and treatment of trauma incidents launched. We created messaging and creative concepts that presented scenarios based around a single situation that could produce two very different results. By presenting our message in this way, we’d cause people to stop and really think, leading to further trauma prevention.
