Challenge

To introduce an established bank into markets without sounding like the typical introduction of an established bank into new markets.

Solution

A radio campaign with spots aimed at both personal and business banking audiences. To rise above the serious and informative (yawn) sound of most bank advertising, we hit the airwaves with personality and a bit of humor. We introduced folks to the lighter side of banking.

Results

StellarOne experienced hugely successful branch openings as they expanded throughout the state of Virginia. The light-hearted approach to promoting their new locations definitely struck a chord within their new communities.
