The Virginia State Police will collaborate with ndp, a full-service advertising, branding and digital marketing agency headquartered in Richmond, Va., to develop creative campaigns that will increase awareness about two important statewide initiatives: 1) The Help Eliminate Auto Theft (HEAT) program to reduce the number of auto thefts and related financial losses, and 2) The Insurance Fraud Program (IFP) to combat the growing crime of insurance fraud in Virginia.
“The messaging will be directed to both the potential victims of auto theft and insurance fraud, as well as to the criminals who need to understand the consequences of their unlawful behaviors,” said First Sergeant Thomas J. Molnar, who coordinates HEAT and IFP for the Virginia State Police. “We look forward to collaborating with ndp on an integrated strategy that will bring more attention to these programs throughout the Commonwealth.”
Molnar noted that the Virginia State Police is re-engaging with ndp, which had worked with the VSP from the mid-1990s to 2014. “They delivered on all aspects of their proposal to address the needs of the HEAT and IFP campaigns. We felt very confident about the decision in naming ndp as the advertising agency for these programs.”
“It is an honor to join forces – again! – with the Virginia State Police to promote the HEAT and IFP programs throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia,” said Brent Morris, CEO of ndp. “These dedicated law enforcement officers are committed to protecting the property and safety of all citizens by educating the public about the risks associated with the crimes of auto theft and insurance fraud.”
