Free Agents Marketing officially becomes ndp.
ndp is opening its new 15,900 square-foot office in Scott’s Addition on December 1, at 2912 West Leigh Street; a conversion of a one-story 1940’s warehouse into an environment fostering creative collaboration with open work spaces, a work café, state-of-the-art presentation rooms, “magnetic walls” to hang work-in-progress, and comfortable, custom furniture, along with a wellness room and a shower for those who commute by bike or on foot. In a nod to its history, exterior walls were preserved and interior doors and flooring repurposed when possible.
The office was designed by the Richmond office of Hickok Cole, a Washington, D.C. architecture firm, known locally for its design of the collective work space called Gather.
In addition, Free Agents Marketing officially becomes ndp on December 1. The ad agency’s offices in Roanoke, Chattanooga, and Norfolk also remain open.
“December 1 marks our collaborative effort in several significant ways,” says Danny Fell, president and CEO of ndp.
“For starters, there’s our new space that focuses on our staff working together for the best possible outcomes for our clients. And then there’s the official start of ndp and the former Free Agents Marketing as one firm, with one name, and one central purpose.”
The agency’s former offices at 1 East Cary Street, a storied location that has housed some of Richmond’s best-known marketing communications companies over the years, is being offered for purchase.
